Voice Lessons in El Segundo

Private Voice Lessons

Whether you are a total beginner or experienced musician, Dr. Katie Martin can provide voice lessons customized for your needs. Katie currently teaches voice at the University of Montana, holds a doctorate in voice performance, and has taught both privately and institutionally in both Western NY and Los Angeles, CA. She teaches both classical and musical theater students at the UofM.  Voice lessons are ideal for:

-High School students preparing for college auditions

-Singers looking to audition for a musical, choir, opera chorus, and/or main stage roles

-Actors wanting to expand their portfolio

-Original recording artists looking to refine their technique

-Beginners looking for a new, fun hobby

-Parents looking to supplement their child's music education

-Skilled musicians in other professions looking to stay involved and motivated

By taking voice lessons, you will learn musicianship skills, singing technique that is straightforward and healthy, performance skills like song interpretation, acting and storytelling, and learn a skill that will help you to gain confidence presenting yourself in front of others.

All ages groups, voice types and styles welcome. Children accepted on a case-by-case basis--please call or email!
